Office fit-out

This project involved the transformation of an outdated accounting office into a contemporary and more functional workplace environment. Working within a limited budget, the design approach focused on reusing the existing furniture while slightly reconfiguring the layout to improve collaboration, comfort and spatial clarity.

The original office contained a very small kitchenette that did not support staff breaks or informal interaction, so the layout was updated to create a more generous staff kitchen with space for lunch and everyday use.

The main co-working zone was refreshed to feel modern yet appropriately conservative for a professional accounting practice. Acoustic panels and timber wall elements were introduced to soften the space, improve comfort and provide a contemporary visual identity without excessive cost.

Meeting areas were enhanced through brighter colour accents and the introduction of a feature mural, creating a more engaging environment for both staff and clients. The reception and waiting area was redesigned with chair pods, allowing visitors greater privacy while waiting and contributing to a more modern first impression.

Overall, the project demonstrates how thoughtful spatial planning and targeted design interventions can significantly improve workplace experience while working within tight budget constraints.
